How is Desktop different from Cloud?
Desktop is an installed application with local project storage and configurable AI providers. Research Studio Cloud runs in your browser. They are separate products; this offer is for Desktop.
Is everything processed on my computer?
Projects are stored locally. Processing depends on your configuration. Requests to external AI providers send the content needed for that request to the selected service. Desktop should not be treated as fully offline in every configuration.
What does the $49.99 price include?
Desktop alpha access and 18 months of updates. External AI provider usage is separate. Contact us if you need clarification on licensing before purchasing.
What should I expect from an alpha?
An early product with bugs and changing features. Keep backups of important research and review generated findings before relying on them. We welcome feedback about your experience.
Can I use my Cloud subscription?
